# User Registration

The Registration Workflow and Functionality

The **User Registration** feature in OPORA CORE provides a secure, regulation-compliant mechanism for onboarding users into the system, including patients, carers, and administrators. Designed in alignment with GDPR and the EU AI Act - particularly around data anonymisation - it ensures secure identity management, auditability, and privacy from the outset. It allows flexible configuration to meet the specific needs of clinical and care environments while embedding security-by-design principles to support ethical and legal data handling.
