### Example: Fitbit Integration

The integration with Fitbit allows the OPORA App user to collect sensor data through the Fitbit Mobile App API, rather than directly from the watch itself. This functionality enables the seamless tracking of key health metrics, including:

* Sleep quality;
* SpO2 (blood oxygen saturation);
* Heart rate variability (HRV);
* High and low heart rate notifications;
* Irregular heart rhythm alerts.

To connect Fitbit with OPORA, the patient simply needs to:

1. Install the Fitbit app and connect it to their Fitbit device.
2. Open the OPORA App homepage and click the "Sync" button.
3. Authorise OPORA to connect with Fitbit (Allow all permissions).
4. Once the status shows "Connected," the clinician will receive sensor data for comprehensive and personalised analysis.

This integration supports improved data analysis and research by providing clinicians with critical health information in real time.
