# Log-out

Secure session termination is enforced across both the mobile application and web dashboard, aligning with data protection regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

* **Mobile Application**: Users can log out manually via the settings menu. Automatic logout is enforced after a configurable period of inactivity. Session tokens are invalidated upon logout to prevent reuse or unauthorised access.
* **Web Dashboard**: Users can log out through the profile menu. Inactivity-based session timeouts are applied in accordance with organisational security policies and regulatory standards.

All logout events are recorded in the platform's audit logs, supporting full traceability and compliance reporting. These measures ensure secure handling of personal and health-related data at all times.
