# Data Management Plan (DMP)

In Health AI, a DMP must show **how patient data is handled in practice.**

#### What you need to show

* What data is collected and why.
* Where it flows, who can access it, and under what conditions.
* How long data is kept and how it is deleted.
* How partners work with shared data safely.

#### How OPORA Core supports this

OPORA Core implements the DMP as part of the system:

* Data flows are modelled and documented as the system is built.
* Data types, purposes, and access rules are explicitly recorded.
* Dataset provenance and usage are tracked.
* Retention and deletion rules are enforced and auditable.
